New Camera

My Nikon 3100 has always jammed when using auto focus and usually at the worst times. So I bought a Nikon 5500. So far I've just taken a couple of baby pictures with it, but I look forward to trying it out more in coming weeks.

Winter has Arrived in Florida

End of the Journey

So we started with whitewater rafting in the Smokey Mountains in North Carolina

Then went tubing

And hiking

Then on to visit family in Indiana

And more family in a different part of Indiana.

Me with all three of my grandchildren

Then Jasmine and I went on to Cincinnati where I had a book signing, met with editors and other writers.

We stayed with a friend I rarely get to see in person.

Then we were off to Chattanooga to Rock City.

And finally after 17 days, 2,508.8 miles, we are home.

For now.

New Partner in Adventures

Meet my new partner in adventures, River Cheyanne, my granddaughter. She was born at 12:13 a.m. the 30th. Due to complications, she was transferred to a NICU floor at a nearby hospital but should be ready for adventures soon.
